Will I get treated during my first session?
Definitely. We will start with an initial assessment during your first visit but it will also include a thorough treatment session. As we get to know you and how your body works, it is important for us to combine treatment and continual re-assessment
How do I prepare for my Massage Session?
Make sure that you are well hydrated prior to your session. We offer two different treatment rooms to accommodate your needs. Option 1 : Private Treatment Room - private, sheets are provided, undress to your comfort level
Option 2 : PT Room - shared, towels are provided, fully or semi clothed (loose-fitting shorts and a t-shirt/sports bra)
What can I do to maximize and extend the marked improvements of the massage?
Drinking water afterward - it can help flush out the toxins. Eat well - it’s best to avoid a heavy meal after a massage, but you also want to make sure that you are getting enough nutrients. Get a good night rest - aim for a minimum of 6 hours. Schedule a follow-up appointment - single deep tissue massage can definitely make a difference, but many patients notice more significant improvements with regular massage appointments.
How often should I receive a Therapeutic Massage?
For those who use massage as preventative care or to manage daily stress, one massage a month is common. Weekly sessions may be desirable if you are receiving massage for injury relief or to relieve chronic tightness that is interfering with your daily life. There are many people who incorporate massage therapy at least twice a month for optimal therapeutic relief.
What is Whole Body Cryotherapy (WBC)?
Cryotherapy, which literally means “cold therapy,” is a technique where the body is exposed to extremely cold temperatures for several minutes. You will stand in an enclosed chamber that surrounds your body but has an opening for your head at the top. The enclosure will drop to between negative 200–300°F. You'll stay in the ultra-low temperature air for between 2-3 minutes. Whole-body cryotherapy (WBC) provides a number of health benefits. It helps decrease blood flow & minimize inflammation to recover faster & increase endorphins.You can get benefits from just one session of cryotherapy, but it’s most effective when used regularly. Some athletes use cryotherapy twice a day. Others will go daily for 10 days and then twice a month afterwards.
Whats the difference between Traditional Commercial Sauna vs. Infrared
Traditional saunas heat the air using hot rocks or steam at temperatures in excess of 200°F. The hot air makes contact with the user’s skin which creates a surface sweat as the body tries to cool itself. The high temperatures may feel good to some for a short period of time, others find the experience unbearably hot and difficult to breathe. The average person should only stay in a traditional sauna for fifteen to twenty minutes max. Infrared heat is very gentle. The experience is similar to lying in the sun on a warm day and feeling the heat radiate to the core of your body. Since infrared heats the body directly and increases core body temperature, the temperature does not to be that hot. In fact, the cooler the surface area of the heater, the more far infrared energy will be produced. The optimal temperature for an infrared sauna session is 100°F to 130°F which is comfortable for thirty minutes or more.

What if I need to cancel my appointment?
If an unforeseen circumstance does arise that requires your cancellation, there will be no charge. 50% fee to cancel within 24 hours, 100% no show fee.
What are the accepted payment methods?
We accept credit, debit, checks and other forms of electronic payment. We do not accept cash at this time. While we cannot bill insurance, some FSAs/ FLEX cards can be used for massage. Please check with your providers if massage therapy is qualified.
